Andrew J. Kim, MD
Board Certified Family Medicine, AAHIVM Certified, HIV and hepatitis C Care
Andrew Kim, Ethnē Health co-founder, is a physician specializing in Family Medicine and HIV Medicine. He received his B.A. from Dartmouth College and his M.D. from SUNY Downstate Medical Center. He is ABFM Board Certified, AAHIVM Board Certified, part of the AOA Honor Society, and part of the Gold Humanism Honor Society.
His parents immigrated from Korea to New York, where he grew up just outside the city. As the child of immigrants, he feels an incredible sense of kinship with the Clarkston community, but even more so he has been blessed by the people of the community and loves getting to raise his own children here. He came to Atlanta specifically to help start Ethnē Health and feels incredibly fortunate to see Ethnē grow from a prayer almost 10 years ago into what it is now. Prior to Ethnē Health, he worked at Resurrection Health in Memphis, TN, where he was a faculty member for a Family Medicine Residency program.
For Dr. Kim, a good day involves seeing patients from newborns to the elderly, sprinkled in with procedures and hospital follow-ups, including patients he has been seeing for years and those he is meeting for the first time. It also usually involves eating some amazing ethnic food and celebrating a birthday with the staff during lunch.
Outside of work, he loves playing with his two boys, reading, and doing CrossFit.
