Dr. Esther E. Kim, MD, Ethnē Health co-founder and COO, is a Board Certified Family Medicine & Women’s Health provider. Dr. Kim was born and raised in Johor, Malaysia until age 12, when her family moved to Texas. Later, she and her husband Andrew moved to Atlanta after they decided to start Ethnē Health with the other co-founders. She received her B.S. from Texas A&M University and M.D. from Texas A&M College of Medicine, and completed her Family Medicine Residency at Resurrection Health. Dr. Kim is also a recipient of the Medicos Family Medicine-Surgical Obstetrics Fellowship.
Dr. Kim’s best days at Ethnē Health include serving with a team of competent, compassionate, and loving staff, hearing patients’ stories throughout their journeys, and being brought food by friendly patients and coworkers. She loves the diversity and vibrancy of the Clarkston community, and being surrounded by myriads of foods, scents, celebrations, and cultures. The way she views and experiences the world is richer because of all the friends she has met in Clarkston; she enjoys learning about cultures and languages and is not afraid to try new things.
Outside of work, Dr. Kim enjoys hiking with her family, playing the guitar, and visiting with neighbors.
