Dimitri Iliadis
Director of Development
Dimitri Iliadis serves as Ethnē’s Development Director. Born in Thessaloniki, Greece, he immigrated to the Atlanta area at the age of 10. He received his B.A. in Communications from Georgia State University and began his career in sales, advertising, and the creative agency industry. Before joining Ethnē, Dimitri spent several years with a leading global financial and marketing technology company, specializing in stakeholder relations, marketing and communications, and creative management to drive development initiatives.
Dimitri lived in Clarkston for 6 years before joining Ethnē, an experience that deeply shaped his perspective. While working in corporate America and commuting back to Clarkston on a daily basis, he witnessed firsthand the economic and healthcare disparities across different parts of Atlanta. Now, in his role at Ethnē, he is honored to bridge that gap by connecting vital resources to the mission of providing high-quality healthcare for all people groups. He is passionate about sharing the story of the underserved refugee and helping donors and partners see the life-changing impact of their support. The diverse and vibrant community Ethnē serves continues to be a source of inspiration for Dimitri, and he enjoys sharing its richness with his network. He also enjoys educating people on the etymology of the word ἔθνη—but watch out, he may try to convince you that the root of any word comes from Greek!
Outside of work, Dimitri is an avid soccer fan—whether watching professional matches (Go ATL United!), playing recreationally (go “Lemon Pepper United!”), or cheering on his daughters in little league (Go TYSA!). He also loves cooking, hiking, and tackling yard work while discussing poetry and Shakespeare with his wife, Acacia. Together they enjoy being actively involved in their local church and their community.
