John Goodman, RN is the Lead Nurse at EthnÄ Health. He received a B.S. in Nursing from Georgia State University and a B.A. in Sociology from Covenant College.
John was born and raised as a missionary kid in Mexico, where he lived until he was 19. After graduating with a B.A. from Covenant College on Lookout Mountain, GA, he moved to Atlanta and has been here since. Having grown up in another country, he has always enjoyed being with, working with, and learning from people from different cultures and backgrounds. Clarkston is an incredibly diverse community and has provided him the opportunity to meet people from so many different cultures and to learn from them as well.
John went into nursing hoping to be able to take his skills to serve the Lord overseas. He had been working as a nurse of six years, and the Lord had not opened the doors for him and his family to move overseas. He had heard about EthnÄ Health through a college friend who let him know that there was an opening for Lead Nurse at the time. EthnÄ Health is serving the international community, and their mission is in line with the whole reason he went into nursing, so after finding out about the opportunity, he and his wife prayed about it and decided to apply.
He is married to his wife Sara, and they have four wonderful children: Jonah, David, Asher, and Naomi.
