Joyce Kim, DABFM is a Physician at EthnÄ Health. She received a B.A. in Music and Anthropology from Case Western Reserve University and Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine. Prior to EthnÄ Health, she was a Staff Physician, CMO at MercyMed of Columbus.
Joyce had always desired to work with the nations and thought for many years that she would be working overseas as a medical missionary. When she had the chance to join EthnÄ in June 2023 and serve the nations arriving in Clarkston, it was an answer to prayer and a desire fulfilled. She finds it a blessing to be able to interact with many different nations in the name of Jesus and to work with an amazing team to bring the hope of his gospel to the hearts of those in Clarkston. She believes that every day at EthnÄ is a good day. Each morning starts with a devotion as a clinic staff member shares what the Lord has been personally teaching them, followed by a reminder that the purpose of a believer is to enjoy God and worship him forever. Immediately thereafter there is a chance to worship him through the work of the clinic and staff members as a body of believers, and she believes this rhythm of worship then work makes every day a great day at EthnÄ.
Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her husband John and son Ethan.
