Rebecca Li, FNP-BC

Family Nurse Practitioner

Rebecca Li is a Family Nurse Practitioner at Ethnē Health. She received her B.S. in Human Development & Nutrition from Cornell University, her B.S. in Nursing from Emory University, and her Nurse Practitioner MSN from Emory University.

She was born and raised in New York City. In the fall of 2020, she moved to Atlanta, Georgia to begin nursing school after doing a gap year in Memphis, Tennessee. In Memphis, many mutual friends told her to visit Ethnē Health, and thus, while starting nursing school at Emory, she began to look for volunteer opportunities at Ethnē. She first started helping with their COVID testing drives during the peak of COVID. She fell in love with serving the Clarkston community through medicine, and it motivated her to continue nursing/nurse practitioner school for the next 3 years. Over time, she transitioned to working as a medical assistant, registered nurse, and now, a family nurse practitioner.

Since her second year in undergraduate, she felt God's distinct call to go to the nations and share Jesus's name. Over the next few years, she went on several mission trips abroad as well as served in the inner-city neighborhoods of Memphis. When she moved to Georgia for school and got involved with the local church and Clarkston community, she began to realize that God's call for her to go to the nations aligns with the ministry needs of Clarkston, a location that has over 60 people groups. She is honored to serve the Clarkston community in clinic as well as outside of clinic. She loves working with the kids and youth in the community through bible study, tutoring help, or just simply chatting. Her stress-relieving hobbies are playing piano/guitar, cooking/baking, and inviting people over to her apartment.

She is so grateful to be a part of Ethnē. The work is hard and there are days where the challenges are difficult to overcome, but it is so rewarding to work with other coworkers who all care in the same way. She loves how she can call Ethnē another family—her great days at work include laughing and serving with fellow coworkers, being able to share about Jesus, and leaving the clinic knowing that her patients are getting better physically and emotionally.
