Joshua Sieweke
Director of Community Outreach
Joshua Sieweke is the Director of Community Outreach at Ethnē Health. His B.A. is in History from Wheaton College. He worked for World Relief for 20 years, filling many different roles, including donation coordinator, case manager, director of mobilization, and office director, until the organization closed the Atlanta Office due to cuts in federal funding. Each day, he wants to love the Lord his God with all his heart and with all his soul and with all his mind and to love his neighbor as himself, and Clarkston is a great place to do that.
When Ethnē needed help sharing the COVID-19 vaccine with the community, Joshua was eager to use his community experience to help. He has now been working at the clinic for three years. Ethnē is a member of the Christian Community Health Fellowship, and soon after joining the clinic, Joshua heard the CEO of CCHF describe the organization as “a bunch of people trying to discover what healthcare in America would be like if Jesus were in charge.” He loved that description and thinks it summarizes Ethnē well. A good day for him is seeing Ethnē fulfill that description, and it usually involves expanding care beyond the exam room through the love and support of community volunteers.
Joshua’s passions are God and his family. He loves spending time with his family and helping his boys learn how to be godly men. Hiking with his family is one of his favorite things to do. He also loves working in his yard and growing a garden, watching soccer and cheering for Arsenal, learning about good food, and just about any form of exercise.
