Ethan Shi is the Patient Resources Team Lead at Ethnē Health. He received a B.S. in Anthropology & Human Biology from Emory University. Prior to joining Ethnē, he worked at Salude, a rehabilitation center as a CNA and interned at Sanger Heart & Vascular Institute as a Health Equity and Cardiac Surgery Intern while in college.
Ethan was inspired to join Ethnē after volunteering in the Clarkston community with the International Rescue Committee and Friends of Refugees. He really enjoyed working with such a vibrant community and wanted to continue helping residents overcome some of the soci
o-economic barriers that are prevalent in the community. Born in Missouri, Ethan and his family relocated to Atlanta in 2005 in order for his mother to attend Emory University's PA program. He admires Clarkston's commitment to welcoming people from all walks of life and has wanted to contribute to the selfless work being done, assisting those in the community that have faced a lot of hardship.
A good day at Ethnē for Ethan is when he is able to help a patient overcome the barriers to care that they face. The most difficult cases yield the most satisfaction when they are solved and, together with his other colleagues, he is able to provide patients with the care they need.
Outside of work, Ethan enjoys playing basketball, attempting to solve the NYT crossword each day, and listening to current events podcasts.
