Raelyn Sanders
Gap Year Intern
Raelyn Sanders joins Ethnē Health as a Gap Year Intern. She received a B.S. in Biology from Belmont University.
Originally from Toccoa, a small town in north Georgia, she came to Clarkston for the multicultural community of immigrants and refugees. Living in Clarkston has introduced her to so many people groups and expanded her understanding of minority patient populations, as well as demonstrating the beauty of diverse community.
Raelyn’s heart to serve in Clarkston stems from her seeing many of her neighbors face so many more barriers to healthcare than other Americans. Ethnē’s patients often face language barriers, challenges with paperwork or documentation, and trauma from their personal experiences. Her work that Ethnē Health helps to break down these barriers and enable vulnerable families and individuals to access high quality healthcare.
Outside of work, Raelyn enjoys reading and watching movies.
