Ellie Kim
Medical Assistant
Ellie Kim is a Medical Assistant at Ethnē Health. She received a B.S. in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from Georgia Tech. Prior to joining Ethnē, Ellie was a medical assistant and medical scribe at a Korean-American outpatient adult primary care clinic in Johns Creek for several years.
She was inspired to join Ethnē after witnessing how every person on the team was unified in the collective goal to tangibly meet the needs of people who are otherwise overlooked by society. She wants to witness and learn a heart of sacrificial service before starting her medical training.
A great day for her is if she is able to show kindness, patience, and tangible love to her coworkers and to each patient while depending on God's strength. She feels most fulfilled in her work when she’s able to see each person – whether patient or coworker – as a person loved and valued by God as opposed to simplifying individuals down to work, charts, and numbers.
Outside of work, Ellie loves exploring new restaurants and cafes while catching up with friends, doing in-depth Bible studies in a small group, and worshiping God in song. She’s also been getting into pickleball, running, and audio books.
