Gabriella Tandra
Gap Year Intern
Gabriella Tandra joins Ethnē Health as a Gap Year Intern. She received a B.S. in Neuroscience (with a minor in Health and Medical Sciences) from Georgia Institute of Technology.
Gabriella has previously served as a summer college intern at Ethnē during her sophomore year of college. At the time, she had limited experience with refugees, but hoped to gain a better understanding of the medical field/clinical experience. Through her internship, she was struck by how the Ethnē team was so servant-hearted and motivated by such love, compassion, and faith in Jesus. She also increasingly encountered the great need for comprehensive, patient-centered, and culturally-sensitive care. In witnessing these needs, her heart to serve this diverse, underserved patient population grew. After her summer internship ended, Gabriella continued to volunteer on Fridays throughout the school year and also returned during the summer as an intern, learning to intake patients.
Outside of work, she enjoys dancing (as evidenced by her experience being a part of a Kpop dance team during her under-graduate years).
